Please read carefully the instructions below before you start posting the whole content of your memory card in a topic...

-Start you title with [PHOTOS] name event , date for example : [PHOTOS] Florennes airshow , 12th July 2009.
-Don't post more than 10 photos/DAY!!! This will give the chance to the other members too , to show their photos!
-Photos can be max 1200px large
-Blurry/unsharp photos , too much compressed photos , complete series of the same aircraft/same postions will be removed by the forum admins

So please be a bit critical for yourself and only post your good/best shots , this will make it more enjoyable for the people watching your photos/topic and I'm sure you'll get more replies , thx for your comprehension.

Went for a "professional" visit to Le Bourget yesterday in the Cy. of SnKenny.
Some interesting stuff in the static.

In the afternoon we repositioned outside the showgrounds to witness the flying display.
Little bummer when we got sent away by the Gendarmerie.
No great problem since we found ourself another fine position.

Below a first selection.

Some very nice shots, I'm particularly fond of the Greyhound and Superhornet shots.

And we'll see how the photo threads develop on Le Bourget. If they get merged, I'll change the title accordingly.

... it was 20 m to the north at the crashgate.

The "official press'' could stand along the fenceline ... us mere mortals were sent away.
Runway view was still possible but view on the flying was partly obstructed by the trees.

I'm going back on saturday for the "historics" display, but I'm afraid that it will get rather crowded at this place, so I'll tend to hang around on the parking lot to try and get some of the flying.

Beware for traffic jams and bobo's on saturday, course Sarko will be visiting "la Centenaire du Salon" in the afternoon.
