Hello,
On the Tuesday of our Swiss trip we went to Alpnach and Emmen. After breakfast we stayed a little bit at Meiringen to see the take offs around 10h.

I was very glad to see the Swiss Tiger F-18 in its natural environment

After that we went to Alpnach which is the main helicopter base of Switserland. The apron was packed with four Super Pumas, three PC-7, three AC-635 and two Alouettes. Unfortunately this cougar was the only one I could photograph properly that morning:

At noon we went to Buochs for a quick look, but nothing special was seen so we drove further to Emmen, homebase of Patrouille Suisse. One F-5 in PS colors did a mission. Also several other aircraft (PC-6/PC-7/PC-9) flew but from the wrong side of the runway. When we were there we also had the luck to see one of the Ju-52's from JU-Air making touch and go's.

As Emmen is less good for photographs we went to Alpnach again where we arrived around 14h30. One EC-635 made a couple of winch exercises while a Cougar was performing cargo-sling and bambi-bucket practices.

We also saw a brand new EC-635 performing a test-flight with its German registration still applied:

After the flying activities stopped around 16h30 at Alpnach we went back to Meiringen where we saw 14 aircraft landing after their last mission of the day:

Some more photos from Meiringen will follow in the next days.
Greetings Tom
