That nice Ryan STM that performed at LFA during the May airshow (the one in Dutch colors (orange triangles)) has crashed on July 4. Both pilots ok, but the aircraft is very damaged/almost completely destroyed.

Sad, was a nice aircraft indeed, that's the second aircraft from La Ferté this year we won't see anymore (most likely).

Yes, it was a very nice one. Good news is that in a few months the STM of Gilze Rijen will be flying in Dutch Navy colors.

Hard times for historic aviation ... luckily no harm to the crew.

Always a tragedy to hear of an aircraft going down but at least the crew are okay
